Ascott Expands Southeast Asia Resort Portfolio
Ascott expands resort portfolio across Southeast Asia with a slate of new hotel projects announced by the lodging unit of Singapore‑listed CapitaLand Investment.
Thailand will welcome the Ascott Abov Patong Phuket Resort, a 254‑room property situated about 150 meters from Patong Beach. The development will host an all‑day dining venue, a swimming pool, rooftop and pool bars, a spa, a gym, a kids’ club and flexible event spaces.
Adjacent to the hotel, the Residences at Ascott Abov Patong Phuket will comprise 227 branded units, with construction slated for completion in 2027.
Vietnam will see three additions. Somerset Nha Trang joins the Libera Nha Trang complex, offering family‑focused accommodation in one of the country’s busiest beach towns.

The Citadines Selavia Phu Quoc is planned as a 369‑unit beachfront development, scheduled to open in 2027. Amenities will include a spa with onsen‑style baths, an all‑day dining outlet and spaces for gatherings.
Another brand debut is the HARRIS Resort Cam Ranh, targeted for 2026. With 693 units, the venue will combine specialty dining, a beach club, a water park, recreational facilities, a ballroom and dedicated meeting areas for business travelers.
Indonesia will host the launch of the lyf hotel brand in Labuan Bajo, a 120‑key property set to open in 2027. The hotel will feature communal lounges, coworking zones and curated local experiences designed for younger travelers.
Three additional developments are slated between 2026 and 2028. The Oakwood Jimbaran Villas and Residences will offer 57 units with direct access to Jimbaran Beach, catering to guests seeking a quiet beachfront setting.

In Canggu, the Oakwood Premier Berawa Beach Bali will deliver 366 units of upscale beachfront living.
The Oakwood Sanur Bali project, comprising 180 units, will be built within a Special Economic Zone and will sit next to the forthcoming Bali International Hospital.
In the Philippines, Ascott will introduce its Preference brand with Balai Dajao by Preference on Siargao Island. The 100‑unit property, featuring suites and villas, is expected to open in late 2027.
