Man who allegedly ran over Collierville police officer now in custody, officers say

Keith Houston is now in custody, in response to TBI.
Houston was positioned and arrested in Shelby County.
The automobile he was in has not been discovered.

Collierville Police (CPD) are looking for a needed man who allegedly ran over an officer together with his automobile at an area resort.
The incident unfolded early Saturday morning.
CPD obtained a name from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Workplace at roughly 2:26 am in an try and find a suspect concerned in a taking pictures.
SCSO mentioned they believed the suspect was positioned on the Fairfield Inn, 10290 Collierville Rd., in Collierville.
The primary officer who arrived on the scene positioned the suspect’s automobile parked on the resort, police mentioned.

A TN Blue Alert has been issued for Keith Houston. He’s needed for aggravated assault on a police officer, in response to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
Houston, 32, was final seen sporting blue denims and a white Nike shirt with the wording ‘Simply Do It.”
