With few exceptions (most notably, the Budapest Convention on Cybercrime and the not-yet-in-force African Union Convention on Cyber Security and Personal Data Protection), worldwide law doesn’t have tailor-made rules for regulating our on-line world. Thus, for a quantity of years, there were open questions about whether or not existing international law applied to our on-line world at all. As such, the current discourse facilities not on whether worldwide law applies, however rather how it does so.
